Terms and Conditions

Instructions on how to enter form part of these Terms and Conditions.

This competition is open to all Australian residents and entry is free of charge. Entrants must be over 18 years of age.

Criteria

Only Haines Hunter boats (regardless of age) will be accepted. Entries depicting any other brand will be discarded.

Photographs will be reviewed based on the following criteria:

  • Technical Quality
  • Clearly identifies Haines Hunter branding
  • Fit up and rig of the vessel
  • Additional points for action shots which tell a story

Images must be high resolution (3Mb or bigger) and jpg high quality format . Please do not send hard copy images, only high-resolution digital files will be accepted.

All entries will be published on our website and the winners will be announced on 30 June 2009. Winners will be also be notified via email . All decisions are final, and not subject to review.

How to enter

Photos can be submitted by mail or online and must reach Haines Hunter by 31st May 2009.

By mail, post CD containing images and Entry Form to:

  • A short description about each image

Copyright and Legal

While the entrant retains the full copyright of all images, Haines Hunter retains the non-exclusive and royalty-free right to publish in any media (electronic, print, video) any submitted image, for purposes of marketing, advertising or any other promotional material without prior permission and without offering any compensation.

Entrants certify that that they are sole copyright holder, own all of the rights and/ or have obtained all necessary rights or licenses in order to authorize use of the submitted photo for the purposes listed above, including any model releases.

All entrants, by submission of photos to the contest, are deemed to have represented, warranted, and covenanted that their entries comply with any and all Applicable Laws, including without limitation Australia and international copyright laws and all laws respecting intellectual property. Entrants agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Haines Hunter and its affiliates, directors, agents and employees from and against any and all demands, claims, losses, damages, costs, liabilities, judgments, fines, expenses and penalties of any kind whatsoever arising out of and in connection with any finding that a submitted photo violates any Applicable Law.

Participation in this competition will be deemed to constitute full and unconditional acceptance of its terms and conditions.
